The People and Performance Podcast co-hosts Bill Banham and Chris Bjorling will be addressing an audience of professionals at the Organizational Culture Shifts Summit on October 20th. Bill be co-hosting and Chris will be one of the awesome panelists.

Speakers
Dan Kelly serves as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chair of the Board of Governors of the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB). In this capacity, Dan is the lead spokesperson and advocate for the views of the Federation’s 95,000 small and medium-sized member businesses.
Dan joined CFIB in 1994 as Policy Analyst for the Prairies and, soon after, became Director of Provincial Affairs for Manitoba. Dan led many files, including the call for balanced budget laws and workers’ compensation reform. In 1999, Dan moved to Calgary to become CFIB’s Western Vice-President and was named one of Alberta’s 50 most influential people while in that role. In Western Canada, Dan led the Federation’s work on the growing shortage of labour, training and immigration, publishing many influential studies on these files. In 2009, Dan took on the role of Senior Vice-President, Legislative Affairs, where he led CFIB’s successful campaign to establish a Code of Conduct for the credit and debit card industry. CFIB’s Board of Governors appointed Dan as President and CEO as of June 2012, and Chair in June 2014. In 2015, Dan was named one of the “Top 100 Most Powerful and Influential People in Government and Politics”, by Power & Influence magazine.
Annette Salfarlie, Senior Advisor at Toronto Transit Commission joined the Toronto Transit Commission in 2001 where she has since worked in several progressive positions leading to her current role in the Business Transformation Office. As a results-driven individual, Annette developed strong change management skills and gained the knowledge and expertise needed to become a major player in the TTC’s modernization. In 2018, through the TTC’s Rewards and Recognition program, she received a Leadership award for her ability to motivate and inspire others to excel.
Her true passion, however, is helping people attain success in their careers. Whether working with direct reports or individuals that she has mentored over her career, her goal has been to have a positive impact on the lives she has touched. As the current President of the first international chapter of COMTO, namely Toronto and Region, she is excited and proud to lead an exceptional team of professionals who are passionate about lending their voices to further the discussion around diversity and inclusion in Canadian Transportation. Annette is also a member of the APTA Diversity and Inclusion Council.

Prior to joining Gartner Canada, Debra was Vice President of Hewlett-Packard Software Technical Sales for North and South America Her current role as Senior Executive Partner provides her the honour and privilege of working with senior leaders – both technology and business focused – on their strategy, execution of their initiatives, organizational challenges, and their own professional development.
She is the co-author of Please Stay: How Women in Tech Survive and Thrive released in the fall of 2020. She is the founder of Stiletto Gladiators, a not-for-profit organization delivering mentorship services, leadership assessment, development, and diversity coaching, and a co-founder of Women in Tech Tribe focused on helping women in technology excel in the field.
Bea Boccalandro is the author of “Do Good At Work, ”a delightful manual for making work meaningful for anyone in any job. She also helps companies, managers and individuals make a positive social impact from everyday work. Job purposing, as this practice is called, increases employee engagement, performance, and wellbeing, and makes meaningful contributions to societal causes.
